Established in 1988 by John Gill & Mitchell Darkins, John Mitchell Electrical is Braintree's sole independent domestic appliance retailer, catering to the residents of Braintree and surrounding areas for over 35 years.

More recently as of 2019, Mitchell developed the business to include a new kitchen design suite and showroom here at the shop. This now allows us to look after our customers complete kitchen needs, from doors and handles, worktops and flooring to the appliances themselves.

Based in Braintree town center our building dates back to the 18th Century and has seen use as a Coal yard, Sweet store and a Furniture shop.
